We have several executive board positions open that we are looking to fill including treasurer, officer of events, president and vice president.
1. Executive Officer of Events. Open for Spring 2014. Duties include fund raiser events, outreach for collaboration with other organizations, inviting guest speakers, planning volunteer events, and effectively communicating with Campus Center Events Services and other event site leaders on event logics.
2. Treasurer. Open for Spring 2014. Duties consist of assisting the president with any financial matters related to the organization, making all SGA deadlines, creating financial spreadsheets, ensuring all funds are managed wisely and can be accounted for, as well as collecting and sorting money.
3. President in training
This person will take over as president beginning next academic year (the Fall 2014 semester). During the upcoming Spring 2014 semester, this person will attend e-board meetings, be involved in e-board decisions and tasks, and assist the current president. You must be here for Fall 2014 in order to be considered for this position! Sorry seniors!
As president beginning Fall semester, this person's duties will consist of having visions of long-term and short-term goals for the organization, scheduling events, being ready to lead fellow officers, calling meetings, finding meeting spaces, and have an agenda to lead meetings.
4. Vice President in training
This person will take over as vice president beginning next academic year (the Fall 2014 semester). During the upcoming Spring 2014 semester, this person will attend e-board meetings, be involved in e-board decisions and tasks, and assist the current vice president. You must be here for Fall 2014 in order to be considered for this position! As vice president beginning Fall semester, this person's duties will consist of effectively communicating with all other positions, ensuring all short-term goals are in good progress, and to assist the President.
