The IC Gerontology Institute is delighted to welcome our new staff member – Teri Reinemann, Outreach and Engagement Coordinator.

 

Teri will provide administrative, program development, and program management support for all the outreach and engagement activities of the Gerontology Institute, including the planning, implementation, coordination of ICGI workshops, student engagement, service learning, and community outreach programs.

 

 

 

Teri has extensive experience in the local community and in areas such as outreach program implementation, service learning, advocacy and public policy. She is the former Senior Outreach Systems and Housing Advocate for the Finger Lakes Independence Center. For the past three years, she has participated in the Tompkins County Falls Prevention Coalition and provided falls prevention education to older people in the local community. Teri has an MS degree in Communications from the Park School at Ithaca College.

 

Teri will work in the ICGI’s offices on the fourth floor of the Center for Health Sciences. Please join us in extending our heartfelt welcome to her.
