Ithaca College's Center for Life Skills invites individuals who have experienced a stroke to participate in its spring session.
The Center for Life Skills program is intended for indviduals who have been discharged from a formal rehabilitation program but deem it necessary to continue post rehabilitation services to improve the quality of their everyday life. The program consists of approximately 10 hours of programming a week. Participant outcomes may include increased strategies to facilitate communication, increased awareness of adaptive equipment, increased mobility and independence in self care, and identification of recreation interests. For more information or to schedule an evaluation, contact program manager Catherine Gooch at (607) 375.6312 or cggoch@ithaca.edu by January 10th.
