Stressed? Tired? Over-burdened with work and family obligations? Living too close to the edge? You can learn to recharge your batteries and nourish yourself on a daily basis by living a more mindful life. Regular practice of meditation slows you down, creates the space you need to relax and take stock, and can provide a measure of comfort and ease in the midst of the chaos of daily life. This is NOT rocket science! Anyone can learn how to “take care of your mind” and find the still point of rest and relaxation so vital and necessary in the world we live in We are pleased to announce that Michael Faber will be returning to campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays to offer MEDITATION for our faculty and staff! Mark your calendars! Tuesday sessions have started and are being held in the Sanctuary of Muller Chapel beginning at noon. If you are interested in Thursday sessions please contact Michael Faber at faber@ithaca.edu with your time preference between 12pm and 2pm Please spread the word and let other faculty & staff know about this fantastic opportunity. Let's grow a "culture of mindfulness" on campus. |
