Do you play a string instrument and want to perform in an orchestra?

The Ithaca College Sinfonietta is a symphony orchestra open to all students who play an orchestral instrument - strings, winds, and percussion. No audition is necessary! (Graduate students and faculty/staff are also welcome to join.)

Sinfonietta performs great music and gives a public concert each semester. We have performed pieces by Beethoven, Moussorgsky, Holst, Sibelius, Copland, Saint-Saens, Grieg, and many others. Sinfonietta rehearses on Mondays from 6:00-7:50pm and can be taken for 0, .5, or 1 credit.
