Ladies of the Gridiron: Free Screening on Thursday, 1/23! Comment from kwikoff on 01/24/14
Someone just sent me this. Gosh -- you guys should have invited me! In 2003 I played women's pro football for the Syracuse Sting, part of the now-defunct WPFL (Women's Professional Football League) -- full NFL rules tackle football. My "career" was cut short when my left tibial plateau exploded in a freak Astroturf injury. It was still a great experience, and I stay in touch with several of my former teammates. Hope the event has a great turnout!
