Ithaca College fazz faculty members Nick Weiser (piano) and Catherine Gale (vocalist) take the duo recordings of Tony Bennett and Bill Evans as their inspiration in this intimate evening of jazz.  The duo recital will be on Thursday, January 30th at 8:15PM in Nabenhauer Recital Hall, on the 4th floor of Whalen Center at Ithaca College.

In the 1970’s, singer Tony Bennett collaborated with Bill Evans, one of the greatest jazz pianists of all time. The repertoire they chose for the two albums they recorded was a mix of selections from the 20th century American songbook, including musical theatre, jazz standards, film music and original compositions by Bill Evans.
