Handwerker Gallery’s 'artist talk' this Wednesday, Jan. 29, will feature assistant professor of art Carla Stetson, whose work Aerial Reconnaissance is one of two concurrent exhibitions that opened in the space last week.

Beginning at 6 p.m. in the gallery's main lobby, attendees will have the opportunity to gain a unique perspective on the series of drawings from the artist herself. Light refreshments will be available during the lecture, which will be followed by a brief Q&A.

The Exhibition:
Aerial Reconnaissance
includes a series of drawings completed by Carla Stetson (Ithaca College, Department of Art) over the past two years that follow a cartographic impulse, exploring topics such as the atmosphere, water gyres, and polar communities bound by temperature.
