Ithaca College is pleased to welcome Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to campus on Monday February 3, 2014 at 1:00pm. 

The event will be held in Emerson B.  The event is free and open to the public but please be advised that seating is limited.

 Senator Gillibrand will deliver an address on "The American Opportunity Agenda" focusing on proposals to assist Women workers in gaining financial security by modernizing America's outdated workplace policies. 

 Senator Gillibrand was first sworn in as U.S. senator from New York in January 2009.  Prior to her service in the Senate, she served in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing 10 counties in upstate New York's 20th congressional district.   

She serves on the Senate agriculture, armed services and aging committees.
