Calling all Visual Artists and Graphic Designers—the Whalen Academic Symposium needs you! Create a design for Whalen 2015 Promotional Materials and win a $50 gift card!Contributed by MaryAnn Taylor on 01/29/14
The James J Whalen Academic Symposium is looking to begin its 17th year with a creative twist. The steering committee is currently looking for designs that will be used for the 2015 Symposium. If selected, your creation will represent the College-wide Symposium for 2015, in which hundreds of students across campus participate. Entries must be submitted as camera-ready files, preferably in high-resolution JPEG format. Entry files should work equally well for web presentation and for print media. Entry files should be designed in color, but should be equally effective in black-and-white. Electronic submittals are acceptable; a CD with your entry is preferred. With your submittal, please provide complete contact information, including name, campus address, phone and email. Finalists will be chosen by the committee and from the these finalists, the winner will be announced and will receive a prize from the Whalen Academic Symposium, a $50 gift card to the Ithaca College Gift Store. Submissions are due by March 14th to whalen@ithaca.edu. Hard copy CD submissions should be sent to MaryAnn Taylor at 274-3113 in the Office of the Provost, Peggy Ryan Williams Center 308.
