If you are curious about interdisciplinary teaching, this is an opportunity to find out about varied approaches such as theme-based classes, international guest experts interacting via internet, joint learning between classes meeting at the same time, co-teaching and other options. These collaborative discussions will synthesize concrete ideas, potential projects and elegant solutions that support our teaching and IC20/20 integrative education goals. We invite you to join us beginning Wed. Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. in the Center for Faculty Excellence, Gannett 316. This on-going learning community meets every other week from Feb. until late April. To join us, or if the meeting time doesn’t fit your schedule but you are interested, please contact Mara Alper at malper@ithaca.edu These events are presented by the Center for Faculty Excellence and CFE Faculty-in-Residence for Interdisciplinary Teaching Mara Alper. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Mara Alper at malper@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1280. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
