Performing Artist with an Injury or Pain? Free Weekly Injury Clinic Every Thursday!Contributed by Michelle Lang on 02/04/14
Spring 2014 drop-in hours have begun! Performing Artists with an Injury or Pain may come to the OT/PT Clinic on Thursdays between 8:30am and 9:30am for a free injury evaluation. The clinic is located on the 4th floor of Center for Health Sciences, Room 401. Any musician or dancer experiencing pain or disability may be assessed by a physical therapist to discuss whether further medical attention is necessary and to receive helpful suggestions. Please bring your instrument. No physician or Health Center referral is necessary. This is a walk-in, first come, first served, session. A sign-up sheet will be available at the reception desk. If you have a written referral please schedule a separate clinic appointment. If you can’t make this time, please call or e-mail the clinic at 607-274-3740 or otptclinic@ithaca.edu.
