The Office of Campus Center and Events Services and the Office of Marketing Communications are happy to announce that two new applications for event scheduling and promotion will be available beginning Monday, February 24:

1. 25Live will replace the current Resource25 (R25) scheduling application. 25Live is a web-based tool that will allow students, faculty, and staff to view up-to-date room availability and request space for meetings and events.

2. In order to better promote events to the campus community and public, a new events calendar website will be launched. It will replace the current online calendar found at ithaca.edu/calendar. It will feature enhanced categorization and search options based on event type, venue, or group; and offers integrated sharing through social media. Any student, faculty, or staff member with an active Netpass will be able to submit events to the calendar.

Please note that 25Live and the new online calendar of events are separate systems. 25 Live is for scheduling and reserving event space; the calendar is a public-facing promotional tool.

Once the new calendar of events is available, any story posted to Intercom about an event will require a link to the specific listing in the events calendar.

Additional information regarding 25Live at Ithaca College can be found here. Campus members should also be aware that R25 will be disabled on March 3, 2014. If you have any questions please contact Heather Schuck, scheduling coordinator, Campus Center and Event Services, at cesreservations@ithaca.edu  or (607) 274-3313.

More information on the new online calendar of events can be found at ithaca.edu/events/help. If you have additional questions, please email events@ithaca.edu or call (607) 274-1440. If your student organization or group would like a profile in the new calendar of events, please email studentorgs@ithaca.edu.
