Tertulia: Spanish Conversation Hours--last few sessions!!!Contributed by Maria DiFrancesco on 04/29/14 A tertulia is a social gathering with literary or artistic overtones, especially in Spain or Latin America. If you are a student of Spanish, speak Spanish at home and miss speaking it on campus, or you are looking to meet others who are passionate about the Spanish-speaking world and its cultures, then this is your chance! Tertulias are forming, and you should come join the fun! When: Wednesdays and Thursday from 5:30-6:30 pm Where: The Pub (in the “Fish bowl”) Why: This is a great opportunity for you to practice your Spanish language skills in a supportive, relaxed environment with native speakers of Spanish. Students of all language abilities are welcome. Remember that there are only a few more sessions left. The semester is ending. Don't let it end without experiencing a tertulia! Questions: Contact Professor Maria DiFrancesco, Muller 411 (mdifrancesco@ithaca.edu). Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Professor Maria DiFrancesco at mdifrancesco@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3547. |
