In one more week, two new systems will be available to the Ithaca College community to reserve event space and promote their events on the website.

25 Live

The new reservation system will enable users to request the use of college space 24/7 from any computer connected to the Internet. Functions available to users include:

  • View event, location, and space collections, calendars, and grids
  • Event creation and editing
  • Ability to save user preferences
  • Search functionality
  • And much more

More information, including the latest demonstrations and training times, can be found at the 25Live User Support web page. You can access 25Live now to begin familiarizing yourself with the program.

If you have any questions please contact Heather Schuck, scheduling coordinator, Campus Center and Event Services, at cesreservations@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3313.

Events Calendar

The new online calendar of events will be a great improvement over the current online events calendar, and offer robust options for people posting events and those browsing for events. Functions that will be available include:

  • Search tools that allow you to view events by type, venue, or group
  • Linking events to Facebook Event pages
  • Event Calendar user profiles: Follow groups, add friends, and review events you attended
  • Profiles for student organizations and groups. If you’re interested in having one created, please email studentorgs@ithaca.edu.
  • Sharing events through social media channels such as Twitter
  • Seeing who plans to attend your event

Students, faculty, and staff will be able to post events to the calendar directly, though there will be an approval process before they go live on the site.

More information and training material will be available at ithaca.edu/events/help. If you have additional questions, please email events@ithaca.edu or call (607) 274-1440.

Please note that 25Live and the online calendar of events are two separate systems. Once Campus Center and Event Services has confirmed the reservation of your event space, you will need to add your event to the Events Calendar. Any stories posted to Intercom about an event will require a link to the specific event in the Event Calendar.
