Moliere: Excessive Use of Farce

Contributed by Greg Bostwick on 02/14/14

The Styles of Acting class in the Department of Theatre Arts invites you to lighten up your day with some farce by Moliere.

The students in the Styles of Acting class have prepared two scenes (in English) from The Would-Be Gentleman by Moliere. These scenes are delightful mash-ups of physical comedy and verbal pyrotechnics. Admission is absolutely and unequivocally free. The presentation is on Tuesday February 18 in Studio 4 on the ground level of Dillingham Center. The scenes start at 1:30 p.m. and should last for about 20 minutes.

We hope you can join us for the fun.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Greg Bostwick at gbostwick@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3794. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
