The article is based on a study conducted by Rogalski which examined a way for older adults to remember detailed information from what they had read. In the study, Rogalski investigated two training techniques, the first involving rereading paragraphs and the other incorporating retrieval in the form of summaries at the paragraph level. Findings from the study indicated that older adults are able to improve memory for details using a retrieval-based strategy. To read the article, click here.
