Why Should You Quit Smoking?

Contributed by Katie Sack on 02/20/14

1.       IT IS A SILENT KILLER
Did you know that tobacco kills more people in the U.S per year than alcohol, cocaine, crack, heroin, homicide, suicide, car accidents, fire and AIDS combined?!

2.       SMOKING CAUSES DISEASES
Heart Disease, stroke, lung cancer, cancer of the lip, mouth, throat, larynx, bladder, pancreases, stomach, cervix, kidney, emphysema, and many more.

3.       SMOKING HURTS YOUR LOVED ONES
It hurts your children, your spouse, your friends, your pets. Everyone is susceptible to second hand smoke and its dangerous health effects.

4.       YOU WILL SAVE TONS OF MONEY
Think what you could do with all that money you currently spend on cigarettes. That Caribbean beach vacation you’ve always wanted to go on, a new car you’ve been eyeing for months, the possibilities are endless!
