The following Show Me the Money - Grants 101 Workshops will be taking place this week at the Center for Faculty Excellence - Gannett 316.  There is still time to register for either day.

February 26: noon – 2pm
Show Me the Money - Grants 101
Interactive Session on transforming your research ideas into fundable grants
Lunch will be provided.

  • Overview of Federal/State and private funding sources. 
  • Grants procedures at IC, including budget development and compliance with financial accounting rules.
  • Demonstrations on how to search for grant funding opportunities using tools like grants.gov, Foundation Center, PIVOT, Grant Advisor, etc.
  • Faculty grant experience and stories of success:
  •          Douglas Turnbull - NSF
  • Opportunity for questions and feedback– bring your project ideas/concepts
