Is the death penalty fair? Is it moral? ICSaveTheBooks, a new student organization, will be discussing capital punishment Thursday Feb. 27th at 6 pm in Friends 309. ICSaveTheBooks is a new organization committed to starting a books to prisoners program, because we view literacy as a right that should not be taken away due to incarceration. Our second goal is to raise awareness of issues related to incarcerated individuals (ex. stigma, economic struggles) and the prison/justice system (ex. prison economy). Hope to see you on Thursday!
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Kevin Walker at kwalker3@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. Capital Punishment Discussion Comment from
