Protect your privacy, make sure your Apple device is fully updated.Contributed by Kyle Szuta on 02/25/14 Make sure you are protecting your privacy while using your Apple devices. Double check that your device is fully updated with all available system updates. On February 21st Apple issued a press release informing the public of a security vulnerability that affects computer running OS 10.9 Mavericks and iOS mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and iPod). Apple has since released system updates that will fix the vulnerability for each system. In order to protect yourself, please take the time to make sure your computer and mobile devices are updated with all available system updates. To update your iOS device: click Settings, General, and Software Update.
To update your Mavericks computer: Click the Apple logo in the upper left corner of your screen, select Software Update…, and install all system updates. |
