Couldn’t get into Academic Writing this semester?Contributed by Mary Lourdes Silva on 03/03/14 Take Academic Writing 10600 online this summer. The asynchronous course will allow students to complete all assignments, class discussions, and drafts on their own time at their own pace on the course management system, Sakai. The site will provide students with video content, illustrating the concepts explored and expectations for each major assignment. Also, students will have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions about the readings and student drafts. This 5-week course fulfills the standard requirement for Academic Writing 10600 and is equivalent to the traditional face-to-face version of the course. The online class begins May 27, 2014. For further questions about the course, contact Dr. Mary Lourdes Silva at msilva@ithaca.edu. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Mary Lourdes Silva at msilva@ithaca.edu or (607) 269-5359. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
