Emmy Award winner Seth Meyers, the new host of NBC's Late Night, will take the stage at Ithaca College’s Athletics and Events Center on Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m. The event will open to the campus community and general public.

Student tickets will go on sale after Spring Break. Tickets will be open to the public shortly thereafter. All seats are reserved.

Pricing for general seating is $30, premium seating is $40, and Ithaca College students can purchase general seating tickets for $15. Please note: student discount does not apply for premium seating.

Meyers, the former Saturday Night Live cast member and head writer, premiered as host of NBC's Late Night on Monday, February 24. He succeeded fellow SNL alumnus Jimmy Fallon, who in turn will take over hosting duties for The Tonight Show.

While at SNL, Meyers served for eight seasons as “Weekend Update" anchor, charming audiences as he lampooned top news stories and entertained fan favorite guests. Before focusing his attention solely on "Update," Meyers was a regular player in sketches, performing numerous characters.

In 2011, Meyers won the Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for host Justin Timberlake’s musical monologue. Meyers has also garnered 10 additional Emmy nominations for his work as a television writer. His new assignment as host of Late Night will keep him under the production leadership of Lorne Michaels, who will continue to oversee Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Meyers also hosted the 2010 and 2011 ESPY Awards on ESPN and headlined the 2011 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner to rave reviews. He was featured on the cover of the January 13, 2014, issue of Time magazine for its look at “The Year Ahead.”

While at Ithaca College, Meyers will also speak to students enrolled in “Weekend Update”: The Intersection of Politics and Comedy course in the Roy H. Park School of Communications. Information on course registration will be available soon at ithaca.edu/m4sr.
