Three Ithaca College professors of music education presented at the New Directions in Music Education Conference at Michigan State University on March 19-22. Drs. Radio Cremata, Chad West and Baruch Whitehead presented research on Informal Learning and After School Music experiences. The conference was host to various national and international researchers interested in advancing new ideas related to music learning with emphasis on opening up possibilities for all children to have greater access and engagement in music education contexts.
