Join a focus group and share your thoughts about being a more sustainable tenant as you think about moving off-campus in the future. This focus group workshop event will take place from noon to 1pm on Thursday, April 24th in the Klingenstein Lounge in the Campus Center. Free lunch will be served. This focus group event is free. Walkins are welcome, but only those who already pre-registered will be entered to win door prizes; you must be present to win.

In this focus group setting, we want you to give us your insights into how IC students can take what they have learned about sustainable living in our residence halls into this new adventure in shared living. We want to learn from you what questions you have about living off-campus, including how you can better cohabit with your fellow tenants, partner with your landlord, and how to save money living off-campus. Tell us what you wished you had known before becoming a tenant. We will use your thoughts, ideas, and even your burning questions, to craft a series of training sessions for IC students to better prepare them for the experience of becoming a sustainable tenant off-campus.

This event is approved for Student Leadership Institute (SLI) credit in the Leading Self track.

This focus group workshop is co-sponsored by: Sustainability at Ithaca College, IC's Resource and Environmental Management Program (REMP), Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County's Energy group, New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG), and PPM Homes.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Marian Brown at mbrown@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3787. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
