Join the Orthodox Christian Fellowship of Ithaca College for a talk and discussion on Orthodoxy 101: What it Means to be an Orthodox Christian on Thursday, April 10th at 7pm in Job 161. The talk will be led by Fr. David Smith of St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church in Syracuse, NY. Rev. Dr. David Smith received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary/Antiochian House of Studies in 2000. He is the author of several publications including "Christianity and Pleasure" (Regina Orthodox Press, 2008) and "Help! I'm Bored in Church!" (Ancient Faith Publishing, 2013) "The Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant. It's orthodox, but not Jewish. It's catholic, but not Roman. it isn't non-denominational - it's pre-denominational. It has believed taught, preserved, defended, and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the day of Pentecost 2000 years ago."
