This week culminates the exhibition run for STRANGE BEDFELLOWS, on view at the Handwerker Gallery through Friday, April 11.  The exhibition will be open for limited hours on Saturday, April 12 for prospective students and families visiting the college from 11am-3pm.

EXHIBITION STATEMENT:

Strange Bedfellows is a nationally traveling exhibition and catalogue exploring collaborative practice in queer art making curated by San Francisco art historian Amy Cancelmo and fiscally sponsored by the Queer Cultural Center (San Francisco). This exhibition offers a multiplicity of perspective on the queer experience and a variety of strategies for collaboration including political organizing, empathy, intersubjective identity, appropriation, familial relations, and romantic partnership.

All Handwerker Gallery events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.; Thursday, 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.; and weekends, noon to 5.00 p.m.. The gallery is closed to the public on Tuesdays unless otherwise specified for an event but can accommodate group or class visits by appointment.
