In response to devastating Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, Filipino communities in the US and beyond have swiftly contributed to relief efforts. Exploring such subjects as immigration history, the portrait of contemporary Filipino-Americans, and the politics of ethnic/national identity, how has Typhoon Haiyan evoked a sense of surging nationalism in Filipino-Americans?
