Who are You?

Contributed by Lisa Calcasola on 04/08/14

“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.”    ― George R.R. MartinA Game of Thrones

Like our buddy George says, the best thing to do is embrace yourself 100%. Love yourself and most importantly, be aware of how you identify yourself. Only when you accept everything you are - and aren't - can you truly reach your true potential.

Corny stuff aside, how we identify ourselves tells a lot about us. Your favorite song, book, even spirit animal all say something about you as a person. And we want to hear all about it!

Come join the Adoption Support & Awareness Alliance us this Thursday, April 10th at 6 p.m. in Williams 202 to discuss and bond.

ALSO!!!!! Remember to contact Tanya Williams to have a five-minute conversation about your identity as an adoptee. Her email is willartm@miamioh.edu. All stories shared will remain confidential!

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact ASAA at ithaca.asaa@gmail.com. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
