Congratulations to 2014 Beta Gamma Sigma Initiates!Contributed by Susan Rosenthal on 04/09/14 Twenty-four exceptional School of Business students were inducted into the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma on Sunday, April 6. Lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest honor a business school student anywhere in the world can achieve at a school accredited by AACSB International. Founded in 1913, the mission of Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, to cultivate and celebrate leadership and professional excellence, and to serve its lifelong members. Juniors and seniors must be in the top 10% of their class; master's candidates must be in the top 20%. Congratulations to the "best of the best" in the School of Business! Juniors - Asaad Anjum, Kelsey Baker, Edward Bohn, Justin Buckley, Benjamin Cary, Brittany Davis, Joshua Dirks, Jason Manrow, Kathryn McKenna, Michael Palermo, Connell Pritchard, Dennis Ryan, Ryan Tomanocy, and Nicole Veit. Seniors (in addition to 12 seniors who were inducted last year) - Corey McEwen and Jordan Sahn. MBA Candidates - Rebecca Hudson, Scott Koblick, Nigel Mears, Megan Palladino, Steven Pascarelli, Maia Root, and Brett Snyder. Chris Didio ('84), CPA, CFE, Audit Partner at Dannible & McKee, LLP addressed the gathering of new initiates, current members, parents, and guests. Seniors Becky Kabel, Stephanie Lemmons, and Katie Williams also reported on their experience at the Beta Gamma Sigma National Student Leadership Forum.
