Steve Mauk, professor of music, recently released his latest CD recording - Rite of Passage.

This recording contains some of the most challenging repertoire for the alto saxophone. Included are Edison Denisov's Sonate, Ingolf Dahl's Concerto, Leslie Bassett's Music for Saxophone and Piano, and William Albright's Sonata. These pieces help separate the student musician from the professional and serve as a "rite of passage" between these two levels. The recording was produced by Cayuga Sound of Ithaca, NY.
