Local food systems as a remedy to pharmaceutical use in agriculture

Donn Hewes and Maryrose Livingston operate the 100% grass- fed, horse powered Northland Sheep Dairy in Marathon, NY. Maryrose is President of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York, and Donn is the President of the Draft Animal Power Network. They both have experience working on conventional cow dairy farms. They have a deep commitment to sustainable farming, both as practitioners and educators.
