Ithaca College

Two Ithaca College trumpet players have recently won scholarships to attend the 2014 International Trumpet Guild Conference this May.  The students are Thomas Pang, senior, Music Performance and Music Education major, and Danny Venora, who graduated this past December with degrees in Music Performance and Music Education.

The International Trumpet Guild is an organization of 5,000 trumpeters from over 50 countries that publishes a quarterly academic journal, commissions new music, sponsors international trumpet competitions in jazz and classical playing, and holds an annual conference.  This year’s conference will be May 20-24 and held in Valley Forge, PA.
