Explores the question "What are you?" through the lenses of the "mixed race" space. ANTH 29010 Culture, Sex and Gender, Lynn Morrison. A dynamic and engaging class with topics on transgender identities and sexual practices cross-culturally, the anthropometry of Barbie, the deployment of sexuality in war and the technology of orgasm. ANTH 29012 Human Monkey Interface, Lisa Corewyn. What roles have we played in each others lives? Do we see monkeys through the mirror of humans? How do we revere, revile and relate to non-human primates. ANTH 37000 Applied Anthropology, Dave Turkon. How does anthropology help to change the world through participatory action research?
