We will schedule five 20-minute robot sessions over two to three weeks to test the usability of the device by measuring infants’ movement, control of the robot, and expressions of pleasure/displeasure. All sessions will occur at Ithaca College and will be videotaped. We willl offer a $20.00 incentive to parents for each infant robot session to help defray transportation costs. The Tots on Bots research team is looking for healthy infants who are between 6 and 12 months of age, and will weigh under 30 pounds to help us in our work developing mobile robots. We are developing different control options that infants with disabilities could use to control their movement on a mobile robot, but first want to test them with infants who are developing typically. Your baby can help us!
