Dr. Paul Dunman will be addressing this important topic April 29 at 7 p.m. in Textor 102. Dunman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Rochester Medical Center School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has been studying antibiotic resistant bacteria and testing new ways to manipulate their molecular machinery to develop novel strategies for the therapeutic intervention of bacterial infections. His work has also revealed new classes of antimicrobial compounds, that could provide clinicians with all new understandings about bacteria and its resistance to conventional antibiotics.

This is the final installment of the four-part 2014 Global Health Speaker Series.
