On behalf of the College, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Hersey Egginton as Director of the Ithaca College New York City Program (ICNYC). Mr. Egginton has served the College on an interim basis since the Fall of 2011. His performance in assisting with the development of the ICNYC Program, an important IC20/20 initiative, has exceeded expectations.

To date 147 students have participated in the ICNYC Program, representing all five schools at the College. In addition to working with current students, Mr. Egginton has helped to foster alumni participation in the program and created numerous connections with internship hosts.

"The ICNYC program has given our students an unparalleled opportunity to intern for a semester in the field of their choice – getting a leg up on a future job opportunity - while living and studying in one of the world’s greatest metropolitan areas,” said Hersey Egginton. "In future semesters, I will continue to look for ways to connect the ICNYC students to our vibrant alumni network and offer students unique social and cultural choices that New York City is always presenting."
