In keeping with the college’s summer hours policy, the Fix-it Friday (FIF) system maintenance time will be adjusted accordingly. From May 23 to August 8, the system maintenance window will be Fridays from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

For anyone who is not familiar with FIF, it was established to provide a weekly window of time -- 5:00-9:00 p.m. each Friday during the academic year and 3:00-7:00 p.m. during the summer -- to perform necessary maintenance on computing systems and services. During this time important production systems (network connectivity, file servers, Parnassus, etc.) may be unavailable.

In general, ITS will post information about scheduled outages 1-2 weeks in advance on the ITS System Alerts page. A Helpdesk-Alert list message will also be sent as a reminder of upcoming FIF maintenance.
