Diane Kinne, Ithaca College's Teacher Certification Officer, has announced her upcoming retirement. Diane's service to the College has been outstanding, and friends and colleagues who would like to express their farewells and celebrate her retirement are invited to drop in at an informal reception for her in the Education Department's conference room (194 Phillips Hall) Monday, June 23, anytime from noon to 2:00.

As the campus Teacher Certification Officer, Diane has offered guidance to many IC teacher candidates applying for their professional certificates, and as a member of the All-College Teacher Education Unit staff, she was an outstanding collaborator as we sought national accreditation for our teacher education programs. Her colleagues in the Department of Education--and across the campus--will miss her generous attitude, her willingness to assist, and her professionalism, and we wish her a joyous, relaxing retirement.
