Michael Yarrow, a longtime advocate for peace and justice who retired as an associate professor of sociology in 1997, passed away on June 2 at the age of 74.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the Third Street Quaker Meetinghouse, 120 Third Street in Ithaca.

In addition to Ruth, his survivors include his children Matthew and Delia.

Donations may be made to the American Friends Service Committee, 1501 Cherry St., Philadelphia, PA 19102.

A complete obituary was published in the Ithaca Journal.
