Do you know someone in your family or in your neighborhood who would enjoy some challenging temporary work and some extra cash?

There are temporary positions at the Campus Store available Thursday, August 21, 2014, through Friday, August 29, 2014. Additional hours may be available until on or about Friday, September 5, 2014.Additional hours may be available until on or about Friday, September 5, 2014. These positions are to run a cash register, assist with shelf stocking and maintaining the store in neat order.

Candidates must be available for a 3-hour orientation session (1-4pm on Thursday, August 21, 2014). Candidates must be available to work Saturday August 23 and Sunday, August 24th. Although scheduled work hours vary, standard weekday hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm. Work schedules will be distributed during the orientation session.

Required qualifications: Skills and experience in cash register and cash handling; good interpersonal skills; enjoy working with the public. Some experience in retail or bookstore work and working with a point of sale system preferred.

Persons age 16 or 17 are welcome to apply but will need to have working papers to present at the orientation. Persons age 18 and older will need to have two forms of identification with them at the orientation. Ithaca College students are not eligible for these positions.
