Ithaca College

Aspiring jazz players are invited to audition for all instrumental jazz ensembles for 2014-15. Auditions will be held on Monday, August 25th, 2014.  Music majors and non-music majors alike are all encouraged to participate.

The four jazz groups holding auditions simultaneously are:

• Jazz Ensemble, directed by Mike Titlebaum
• Jazz Repertory Ensemble, directed by Greg Evans
• Jazz Lab Band, directed by Bill Tiberio
• Campus Jazz Band, directed by Bill Tiberio.

Each group performs at least one concert per semester as well as elsewhere on campus and in the community.  All Ithaca College students regardless of major are permitted to audition for the jazz ensembles.  Non-majors who would like to perform in a jazz group but don't want to audition can contact Bill Tiberio about playing in the Campus Jazz Band after auditions are completed.

Auditions will be anonymous, blind, behind a screen.  Once you've signed up online, you'll receive more specifics.  All auditions will be held on Monday, August 25th.  You must complete the online sign up before that date.
