It is with great enthusiasm that we announce to the campus community that the college has undertaken a massive project to upgrade the wireless infrastructure across campus.  We spent last academic year conducting site surveys, issuing Response for Proposals (RFPs), and negotiating pricing and we are pleased to announce that work has commenced and will continue through the fall semester of the 2014-2015 academic year.

The Information Technology Services team will be working alongside the Facilities department, and Apogee (an external vendor) to implement the upgrades.  The project is a high priority and we have created websites to provide the campus community with continuous updates of the project’s progress. You can access the site(s) from the following links:

We will also provide periodic updates through communications via INTERCOM and other vehicles.  We would like to take the time to ask for your patience as we make the necessary installations across campus.  Your office and buildings will be notified before installations take place.

This year there will also be more informative and innovative communications coming out of the ITS department. These communications will be geared towards our continuous improvement in network and desktop capabilities.

Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation. We look forward to a very successful academic year.

It's about time! Could have been started in November 2013 using the same
vendor installing the same equipment at the same price.
