 Melinda Cozzolino and Carole Dennis attended the 16th International Congress of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists in Yokohama, Japan, June 18-21, 2014.

 

 Carole Dennis presented a paper titled Infant Mobility Using Robots: A Comparison of Two Control Interfaces; contributing authors were Kim Wilkinson, Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy, Sharon Stansfield, Associate Professor of Computer Science, and Hélène Larin, Acting Associate Dean for Graduate and Clinical Studies in HSHP.  Carole also presented a poster, coauthored with Lynn Gitlow, Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy, titled Practice for Sustainability in Occupational Therapy.

Lynn Gitlow also authored a paper titled Technology Use by Older Adults and Barrier to Using Technology. Dr. Ann Cronin presented Lynn's paper, due to an illness in Dr. Gitlow's family.  The research discussed in this paper was recently published in Physical and Occupational Therapy in Geriatrics, 32(3), pps. 271-280.

Melinda Cozzolino presented a paper titled A model of interprofessional education and practice: The Center for Life Skills. Catherine Gooch, Program Manager of the Center for Life Skills and Adjunct Faculty member was a contributing author on this paper.
