On Saturday night, August 9th, Ithaca 15 year-olds on bicycles were followed by a police officer in civilian clothes in his personal vehicle. "Police have acknowledged that a sergeant in an unmarked car got out of his vehicle and pulled his gun out on the unarmed teens. The teens have not been charged with a crime." (The Ithaca Voice, Aug. 18).

Starting at 4:30, walk up Green Street to City Hall

5:00 Gather in the lot adjacent to City Hall to hear speakers comment on the August 9th incident and related issues.

5:30 Some people will start to go up to council chambers to submit their public comment cards and attend the meeting. Others will remain at the Rally.

6:00 Council meeting starts. We are still.waiting to hear if the site will be changed to accommodate more people.
