Faculty members are sought to serve as the steering committee for the Linden Award for Learning Portfolio Excellence. The award has been established by Jay and Judith Linden to recognize up to three senior students annually who create outstanding learning portfolios demonstrating the reflective and creative use of technology through the portfolio as an electronically mediated presentation and showing an established relationship and communication with an IC alumnus mentor for the portfolio. Student award recipients will be selected based on the content and quality of their portfolios, including evidence of integrative thinking, critical and analytical problem solving, and reflective learning.

 The role of the steering committee for this year will include developing a student application process and form, creating an evaluation rubric/system for students applying for consideration, and assisting in evaluating portfolios and determining finalists.
