Dear members of the Ithaca College Community,

On behalf of students, faculty and staff I want to wish everyone Shanah Tovah, which translates from Hebrew as Have a Good Year!

Tonight, with the sunset, Jews around the world will celebrate the start of the new, 5775 Year! Ithaca College Jewish community will get together at 5:00pm at Muller Chapel for a Erev Rosh Hashanah services, led by Rabbi David Basior. At 7:00pm we will proceed for a celebratory dinner at Emerson Suites.

For your convenience, please find the schedule of the whole High Holiday Season below. All services are held in Muller Chapel and are open to the entire Ithaca College community.

Rosh HaShanah

  • Wednesday, September 24th: Evening service 5:00pm
  • Wednesday, September 24th: Rosh Hashanah Banquet, 7:00pm, Emerson Suites. 
  • Thursday, September 25th: Morning Service 10:00am-1:00pm, Kiddush to follow
  • Taschlich Ceremony 1:45pm Chapel Lake
  • Friday, September 26th: Morning Service 10:00am – 1:00pm, Kiddush to follow

Yom Kippur

  • Friday, October 3rd: Evening service 7:00pm
  • Saturday, October 4th: Morning service 10:00am – 1:00pm
  • Saturday, October 4th: Afternoon Service and Break Fast to follow 6:30pm
