Park School 2014 Wi-Fi Testing Begins - Building Completion Expected By 10/3Contributed by Matt Gorney on 09/25/14
All tests so far have been quite successful and our initial test results show a major improvement over what our previous baseline connection data was showing. Once testing confirms successful network performance, the building will move from ‘testing’ to a ‘completed’ status on October 3rd. This expected completion will mark the first building to enter the new updated wireless environment at Ithaca College. The entire ITS 2014 Wi-Fi project team is excited that we are keeping an aggressive pace and look forward to the next twenty-eight buildings as the largest wireless initiative in the school’s history moves along with success. Ithaca College ITS is pleased to announce that the Park School of Communications is the first building to enter into the testing phase for their new Wi-Fi environment. Between now and October 3rd we are continuously monitoring the performance of the network and are asking the Park School community for feedback on any issues.
