Jonathan Ablard, History, gave two invited presentations at Trent University in Petersborough, Ontario, last week.

His lecture, "The Body in Latin American History," examined the historical causes of the current "nutrition transition" in Latin America and the Caribbean. He also conducted a workshop, sponsored by the Trent History Undergraduate and Graduate Students (THUGS), on "Non-Academic Careers for Historians." In the workshop, Dr. Ablard shared the work and findings of the American Historical Association's Tuning Project.
