Park School of Communications becomes first completed in 2014 Campus Wi-Fi ProjectContributed by Matt Gorney on 10/03/14 Ithaca College ITS is pleased to announce that the Park School of Communications is the first building to be completed in the 2014 Campus Wi-fi Project. Our initial testing phase is complete and occupants of that building should now be experiencing the benefits of the new, modern, robust wi-fi environment. "I am very pleased and especially proud of the entire WiFi project team in completing this first building and bringing it on line in our improved enterprise wireless network solution." said ITS Wi-Fi Project Leader Bill Weeks. “I look forward to continued success in meeting the needs of our campus community.” The ITS Network Services team in conjunction with Facilities and our installer Apogee are already well into nearing the testing phase for Whalen and our final design plans for Williams Hall are now completed. We expect to keep an aggressive pace and look forward to bringing strong, reliable wi-fi service to your building as soon as we can. As always, if you are experiencing network connection issues, please contact the Helpdesk |
